Induction

All employees complete comprehensive inductions before commercing any work, consisting of Company History and Values, Code of Conducts, Health & Safety Policy, Common Scaffolding Risks and Controls and etc. 

​

PPEs

Standard PPEs (Hard Hat with Chin Strap, Hi-vis, Steel Cap Boots and Gloves) will be issued upon completion of induction. Harness and other PPEs will be issued once relavant training achieved. Use of proper PPEs is mandatory during scaffolding operations.

Training & Competence

Training helps people share knowledge and develop skills, and is an important part of managing risks. At Senior Scaffold, our employees are trained on a regular basis to ensure they are competent to carry out work safely. Our employees have various training ranging from SiteSafe Courses, Scaffolding Apprenticeships, Working at height and Drivers licence to EWP, Forklift, Truck loader crane, On-job training and In-house courses (eg. tube & coupler, using rescue kit, rope knots, etc).

Health & Safey Operation

We carry out a full survey before starting planning or erection to find any potential problems like power lines, stability of the ground or supporting structure and how the scaffold will be kept stable. Our team complete and sign daily Pre-start meeting and Task Analysis with step by step risk and controls prior to starting any work. Our Health and Safety Manager holds internal toolbox meeting weekly to share health

and safety knowledge and address safety issues found on site.

Site Wise

SiteWise is an established prequalification system that grades a contractor’s health & safety capability which can be viewed by main contractor’s and principal organisations. We are proud we have achieved green status since 2018.
